26 Days of Christmas - The Guilty Indulgence

I've lived with diabetes for fourteen years now, and I do pretty well about controlling my diet during the New Hallowthanksmas holidays.

But my single indulgence is Starbucks seasonal beverages. And starting December 1st, I indulge in my one-per-week Peppermint Mocha.

Why I love Peppermint Mochas: It's like drinking Girl Scout Thin Mints. 'Nuff said.


  1. Peppermint mochas are good. I had one this year from my favorite barista at Barnes and then went home and made one. Right now though, I'm groovin' on my own version of gingerbread lattes (sans coffee). So flippin' good. In fact, I'm making another batch today.

    1. Unfortunately, I can't make coffee at home right now. I know exactly where the maker is, but it would be a two project to get to it. (Literally.)

    2. Most all my lattes don't have coffee but with the peppermint mocha I went with an instant baking coffee packet that I got for free.

      Made my gingerbread lattes today, sans coffee. Just don't like it in there with that drink.
