But not enough to go crazy on the internet. *grin*

Though Big Al, the poor reviewer caught in the Jacqueline Howett mess, said he gained a lot of followers out of the incident. Go figure. *shrug*Suzan Hardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04600258874634909988noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5384027358660553150.post-55148613381403688692015-03-11T07:50:38.645-04:002015-03-11T07:50:38.645-04:00Thanks! I've been fighting travel crud, so I haven't blogged about it yet, but I did have an awesome week. :)

And of course I had to go digging through piled up posts on a blog we both frequent to see what you were talking about. Good grief! You know it seriously reminds me of the Jacqueline Howett thing from a few years back, where she behaved so badly in what she clearly thought was a tiny little venue that wouldn't get much attention, but her behavior drew half the internet to come watch and gawk and snark and link. The writer you referred to seemed to think that because her original post went up on a relatively small site intended for her writer friends, that no one else would notice it or link to it or comment on it. How long does it take some people to figure out how the internet works? :/

And yes, the misspellings in the sock puppets' posts (or heck, maybe that's actually how her friends write) were pretty hilarious. :D

You know, I spent a little over a week with a bunch of awesome writers, most of whom are more successful than I am. I envy them, sure, but it makes me want to work harder. When you look at other people doing well, you can take your feelings about it and use them positively or negatively. I guess we know what Whiny Writer has chosen.

AngieAngiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11920578701763415331noreply@blogger.com
