ReplyDeleteVery dorky, the JLA comic was better. I was in late elementary school when it was on, but even then I had the idea it was aimed at younger kids. But it was super heroes, and there was very little of that anywhere in the culture outside of comic books at the time -- this and reruns of the Adam West Batman show were about it, as I recall -- so I watched it anyway. :)

Even when they made the Wonder Woman, Spider-man, and Hulk live-action TV shows in the mid-late '70's, they were geared toward kids because producers didn't take the material seriously.
