It's Been One of Those Mondays

Both DH and I had errands to run in addition to doing our day jobs. I stopped at Starbucks for desperately needed caffeine. The baristas were shocked I didn't have my backpack and I was wasn't staying for some writing time.

Genius Kid is visiting, which means the pups were terribly excited all day. A dinner with other family members followed this evening with homemade chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream from a local creamery for dessert.

Which is why this post is being made at 11:30 P.M. I hope y'all got tons accomplished, too.
